Pomorie biathlete Valeria Igumnova won three medals in the “Valley of Comfort”

In Murmansk, at the Dolina Uyuta sports complex, the interregional biathlon competition “Cup of the Honored Master of Sports of Russia Valery Kiriyenko” ended. This was reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region.
This year the competition took place for the 27th time. More than 70 athletes from the Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions, Moscow and the Republic of Karelia entered the competition for awards. Participants in the interregional starts were boys and girls aged 15 to 18 years.
In the competition program, biathletes competed for medals in the individual race, sprint and mass start.
Under the guidance of coach Sergei Yarkov, biathlete from the sports school of the Olympic reserve “Pomorie” Valeria Igumnova won two silver and one bronze. The athlete finished second in the sprint and mass start, and came third in the individual race.
