At present, the likelihood of a direct clash between Russia and NATO remains high, Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, said during a conversation with users of the social network X (ex-Twitter).
The diplomat noted that Moscow had repeatedly warned about such a danger. Polyansky also pointed out that the North Atlantic Alliance is largely involved in the conflict on the territory of Ukraine, supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine with intelligence, weapons and ammunition, that is, everything except manpower, and there are doubts about this.”
“There are many signs that there are some instructors, mercenaries, and the deaths of some people are reported in a very mysterious way at their homes – generals and officers from NATO,” Polyansky said, noting that such events give rise to a large number of questions. According to him, the participation of NATO troops in the fighting in Ukraine cannot be ruled out.
He also noted that the plight of the Armed Forces of Ukraine persists, and the Kiev regime is resisting only thanks to the support of the West, which is gradually decreasing.
“And I think a lot of people in the US, as well as elsewhere, are beginning to realize that the Kiev regime is losing,” Polyansky said.
“Anything can happen. Nothing is out of the question when there is such a close proxy clash between NATO and Russia,” the diplomat added.
