He said that the Nazis are openly glorified in Canada, and called the honoring of SS man Jaroslav Hunka in the Canadian Parliament only “the tip of the iceberg.” According to him, if society digs deeper, many secrets will be revealed that will be unpleasant for most Canadians.
Polyansky also called the government of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau a hostage to neo-Nazi ideology and recalled that Canada sheltered many Nazi collaborators who now have children and grandchildren.
The honoring of SS man Jaroslaw Hunka caused outrage in several countries, including Russia, Belarus and Poland. The Speaker of the House of Commons, Anthony Rota, who later resigned, took responsibility for inviting Hunka to Parliament.
