Polyansky expects a “pro-Ukrainian Sabbath” at the UN on Friday

The First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, wrote in his Telegram channel that today, February 23, the Western camp is organizing a “pro-Ukrainian Sabbath” at the World Organization, timed to coincide with the second anniversary of the start of a special military operation.
“Ministers of European countries flock to New York like flies,” the Russian diplomat noted, adding that when Israel’s actions in Gaza are discussed at the UN, these ministers cannot be found.
At 18:00 Moscow time, debates will begin in the UN General Assembly, where Russia speaks second after Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. and at 23:00 Moscow time a meeting of the UN Security Council will begin, where Russia will be one of the last to speak.
Polyansky added that the Russian delegation has all its speeches ready and the diplomats are in a fighting mood.
