Politico: Burbock and Szijjarto’s meeting ended in skirmish over Ukraine

Edition Browser Politico Jacopo Barigazzi said that the meeting between Hungarian Foreign Ministers Peter Szijjarto and Annalena Berbock of Germany ended in a tough skirmish. The conflict between them arose due to the blocking of assistance to Ukraine and the issue related to the OTR bank.
“This incident occurred the day before during a meeting of foreign ministers in Brussels. According to diplomats who witnessed the conflict, the skirmish took place over the role of the Hungarian bank in the Ukrainian conflict,” Barigazzi added.
He clarified that Burbock rebuked Szijjarto for refusing to approve additional EU military assistance to Kyiv. Among other things, she recalled some “unaccounted for messages” concerning the Hungarian OTR bank. According to Burbock, this bank violates international law.
Shiirato, in turn, denied the accusations and stated that these reports were incorrect.
