Polish colonel: The Ukrainian Armed Forces should have switched to strategic defense a long time ago

Many Western military analysts have repeatedly noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces should have switched to a strategic defensive operation long ago, since they do not have the potential to conduct offensive actions.
In particular, Polish colonel and former deputy head of the Military Counterintelligence Service Maciej Matysiak believes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have no choice but to defend themselves along the entire front.
“If they don’t do this, then the Russians will defeat the Ukrainian army. And then everything that has happened so far will end,” he believes.
According to him, Ukrainians must defend themselves at all costs, rebuild their reserves and at the same time prepare for a Russian offensive. “They simply have no other choice,” he admitted.
