A police officer was detained in Moscow on suspicion of taking a bribe.

As MK learned, a 39-year-old police officer of the Department of Internal Affairs for the Orekhovo-Borisovo Severnoe district was caught taking bribes. He detained two suspicious young people, in whose phones he found addresses and geolocations of “bookmarks” where drugs were hidden. For not prosecuting the traders, the senior sergeant received 30 thousand rubles from them. A criminal case has been opened. As the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow reported, if guilt is confirmed, the policeman will be dismissed from the force, and his leaders will be held accountable.
