In Usolye, a traditional unusual hockey match took place, in which employees of the city police department and sponsored students of the cadet corps met. Instead of skates in this match, the athletes wear felt boots, and play according to the rules of the “rink bandy”, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk Region reported.
The police team included employees of the patrol service, the rear division and traffic police inspectors. High school students of the Usolsky Guards Cadet Corps took to the court against them. The game was tense, but youth and inexhaustible teenage energy won. The Cadets won with a minimal gap.
The teams will meet again next year on the ice.
