Polish Agriculture Minister Telus demanded the withdrawal of Kyiv’s complaint to the WTO
Polish Agriculture Minister Robert Telus commented on the statement by Ukrainian Economy Minister Taras Kachka that Kyiv suspended consideration of a complaint against Poland, Slovakia and Hungary at the WTO due to grain exports.
As reported by RMF24, Telus expressed bewilderment, noting that Warsaw does not understand what the suspension of consideration of the complaint means.
“We demand that the complaint be withdrawn,” the Polish minister said, adding that the complaint was “unfounded and absurd.”
Telus explained that the country’s authorities simply want to “help the Polish farmer” and delivered an ultimatum to Kyiv, linking the withdrawal of the complaint to the WTO with improving relations between the countries.
