Podolyak: Poland will remain a close friend of Ukraine only until the end of hostilities
Ukraine is ready to consider Poland a close friend only until the end of hostilities. Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the Dom TV channel. He clarified that after the NWO, competition for markets will intensify between the countries, and Kyiv will become tough to protect its interests.
Podolyak also called Poland the closest friend and partner. And he noted that the periodically arising disagreements between Kiev and Warsaw should be considered a discussion that will not lead to breaks.
Earlier, Ukraine and Poland exchanged accusations over Warsaw’s decision to maintain an embargo on grain supplies from Ukraine. In Kyiv, they called this an unfriendly step, in Warsaw, in turn, they justified it with national interests.
On July 31, the Minister of the Office of the President of Poland, Marcin Przydacz, said that it is time for Ukraine to appreciate the great help that it has been receiving from Warsaw for years. After that, the Polish ambassador was summoned to the Ukrainian diplomatic mission for explanations. The same measure was resorted to in Warsaw in response. As a result, Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Pavel Yablonsky complained that relations between the countries are not the best because of the statements of the Ukrainian side.
