Playwright Petriychuk and director Berkovich were left in pre-trial detention until May 4
The Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow decided to keep director Evgenia Berkovich and playwright Svetlana Petriychuk in custody until May 4.
The period of detention was extended by 24 days, the court was told.
The director and playwright are accused in a criminal case for justifying terrorism. Petriychuk wrote the script for the play “Finist – Clear Falcon” about women who met representatives of radical Islam on social networks, and Berkovich directed it.
