Experts recommend that Russians not repeat such “exploits” – if only in order not to encourage the business of newly minted scammers. The fact is that several organizations have already appeared in Turkey that specialize in legal assistance to vacationers who need additional free days of stay. The scammers have taken over the business.
– In order to fight such falsifications, it is necessary to create an entire expert service at hotels, – lawyer Maxim Eremin believes. – Its employees should check medical reports literally under a magnifying glass, analyze recordings from video cameras (does the fall look too feigned) and study the profiles of tourists on social networks. And it is best to single out cases that do not apply to insurance. For example, if the guest “kissed” the door when he was tipsy, this is only his problem.
Lawyer Andrey Solomatin believes that the hardest thing is to expose deceivers with food poisoning. They can warm the thermometer in water, and it is not customary to demonstrate vomit to doctors.
– Most likely, the evidence of malaise should be at least a blood test, – the expert believes. – And hotel staff should be wary of the behavior of sick guests who, instead of getting sick in the room, are eager to go to a bar or on a sun lounger. Based on these data, the guest can be evicted or provided with a closed room where he will spend his quarantine.
