Plans for the development of sports infrastructure were discussed in Tula

A working meeting was held between the head of the city administration, Dmitry Milyaev, with the deputy head of the administration for social policy, Inessa Feldman, and the head of the department of physical culture and sports, Mikhail Trunov. They discussed the preparation of sports facilities for the season, as well as the implementation of new projects in the city.

In the Proletarian District of Tula, a sports and recreation complex “Armsman” appeared. The construction was carried out with the support of the region’s governor Alexei Dyumin. The object was handed over to the municipality to ensure the training process of the city’s sports schools. There are classes in judo, sambo, weightlifting, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, powerlifting and acrobatic rock and roll, as well as enrollment in sports sections.

At the moment, many sports facilities are suitable for preparation for the training process. So, a 200-meter cycle track was opened on Lunacharsky Street, which underwent a major overhaul. The facility meets all the requirements for training young cyclists.

A martial arts hall was opened with the support of the government of the Tula region, the city administration and the Alexander Povetkin Renaissance Foundation. Young kickboxers will practice here. The hall is a structural subdivision of MBUDO “Center for youth tourism and patriotic education”.

New facilities are also being built. On the territory of CO No. 21, an open sports and recreation complex is being built with running tracks equipped with a rubber coating 200 m long, a football field with a turf, a hockey rink and a platform with weight training equipment. The implementation of the facility is carried out jointly with the regions within the framework of “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”. The facility will open in mid-September.

Capital repairs are being carried out in the swimming pool of MAU “Sports facilities” on Stepanova street. Work will end on September 10th. Training is currently being held in the new FOK on Stevolnaya Street.

From August 15 to October 1, at the football arena in the village of Kosaya Gora, turf will be laid, landscaping will be carried out, and commissioning work will be carried out on ventilation and security systems.

In Tula, as part of the Gazprom for Children social program, two multifunctional sites are being built in the settlements of Zaitsevo and Mendeleevsky. The playgrounds will be covered with rubber, basketball, football, volleyball will be played here. In winter, they will be designed for skating.

In 2023, there are plans to overhaul the weightlifting hall of the Vostok school and the sports and recreation center in the Plekhanovo village of the Olimp school.

The Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Administration of Tula is preparing design estimates for the construction of a new sports and recreation center with a swimming pool in the village of Skuratovo. This will be done within the framework of the federal program “Sport is the norm of life.” There is active development in this area.
