The Strizhi aerobatics team plans to use MiG-35 fighters for demonstration flights in the future, said TASS source in the military-industrial complex.
“The timing when the aerobatic team will “transfer” from the MiG-29 fighters to the MiG-35 is still unknown, but the pilots have already been retrained to control the new aircraft,” said a source at the International Maritime Defense Show-2023.
The MiG-35 is the latest multirole fighter. Flight tests started in January 2017, and factory tests were completed in December of the same year. The MiG-35 is designed to operate in areas of high-intensity armed conflicts.
On June 21, the opening of the International Naval Show took place in Kronstadt. The event will be held for the first time at the Museum of Naval Glory and the Convention and Exhibition Center on the territory of the Island of Forts cluster.
