In Nizhny Novgorod, a criminal case is being investigated on discrediting the army (part 1 of article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) against opposition leader Ilya Myaskovsky. The subject of the accusation is the publication of photographs of anti-war graffiti in the Internet group “Nizhny Novgorod Civil Movement”. The investigation believes that the group was administered by Ilya Myaskovsky, activist Gleb Kalinychev and well-known left-wing blogger Andrey Rudoy. After the police visit, Ilya Myaskovsky was arrested for three days for disobedience to employees, Andrei Rudoy left Russia. The suspect has not yet expressed his attitude to the criminal case; he considers his reports from anti-war actions and court hearings to be a real reason for persecution.
