The Yars missile systems of the Barnaul Missile Division entered the field areas of combat duty. This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of Russia. They noted that the launchers perform the tasks of completing a march up to 100 kilometers long.
“In the Barnaul missile formation, autonomous launchers of the Yars PGRK were deployed to combat patrol routes,” the report says.
The military department also noted that mobile ground-based missile systems (PGRK) perform tasks, as well as introductory maneuvers on combat patrol routes, including at night.
According to official data, the Barnaul division of the Strategic Missile Forces can have up to four missile regiments, each with nine Yars.
