Pyotr Kucherenko was afraid even of jokes about death
The sudden death of Diana Gurtskaya’s husband, Petr Kucherenko, is being actively discussed in show business. Many celebrities knew Peter and considered him their friend. “We met Petya a long time ago on the set of one of the television programs,” says Gauguin. – We were experts at that show, we sat on the same couch. Then they just got married with Diana. I frankly asked him: “Are you not afraid of the peculiarities of her health?” He replied that not at all. And that his wife’s health features stimulate him to be twice as healthy, for both of them. He loved her very much, that’s true. Peter and I then became friends, often corresponded. He helped me scientifically. After all, Peter was a doctor of science, so I consulted with him on writing a dissertation.
Did he have any bad feeling?
– No. He didn’t think about death. Moreover, even jokes on this subject did not perceive. At the beginning of the year, Petya read that I allegedly died. He writes to me: “What is this? Do not joke so”. I had to explain that it was my ex-grandmothers who were having so much fun, spreading all sorts of rubbish about me. He was also indignant at such jokes on their part. Recently, I congratulated him on his birthday and wished him many more years. He was so surprised: “Such words are usually desired after 70.” He was full of plans. They really wanted a second child with Diana. In general, lately he said that he feels like a truly happy person. In the last couple of years, his career has taken off. It is very painful and sad that this happened.
Why do you think he couldn’t be saved?
– In flight conditions, unfortunately, medical care is much more difficult. I think that it was physically impossible to land the plane quickly. I am sure that the pilots and the airline did everything to help Petya. I think the fact that the sun can have a bad effect on those who are not used to constant heat also played a role. I had sunstroke in Cuba at one time. Three days later he could not come to his senses. I think that the climatic features in the case of Peter played their fatal role. It could even be in the little things. I didn’t drink enough water, I didn’t put on a hat in the scorching sun … Maybe it all overlapped and such a tragedy happened in flight …. It’s not worth guessing, you need to wait for an official report on the causes of death from doctors.
