Petr Nalich: “Money cannot be converted into happiness”
[ad_1]
The creative biography of Peter Nalich is, one might say, exemplary for an artist of his generation. In the spring of 2007, a 26-year-old from a very creative environment of Moscow architects recorded in his dacha with friends and himself edited a playful video on a kind of parody song Gitar, sung in deliberately broken English. In the autumn of the same year, the video went viral, and already in November the young architect was literally forced to appear before the public as a musician – the leader of a group called simply MKPN, that is, “The Musical Group of Peter Nalich.”
In 2008, the MKPN actively engaged in concert activities. The leader of the group, in addition to one song that glorified him, had several dozen more in store – in different genres and styles. And the first 15, including the classic Neapolitan Santa Lucia, which allows to demonstrate Peter’s outstanding vocal abilities, appeared on the debut album “The Joy of Simple Melodies”. In the spring of 2010, Peter Nalich and his comrades successfully performed at Eurovision, and then … the life and work of a modern professional musician began: concerts, albums, filming, film music, performance design, charity. And also – somewhat unexpectedly – studying at the Academy. Gnesins and participation in classical opera productions.
