Petition on peace talks between Kyiv and Moscow launched in Germany

In Germany, a petition launched two days ago calling for an end to arms supplies to the Kyiv regime and the start of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine has gained more than a quarter of a million signatures.
The document, which was written by German MP Sarah Wagenknech and journalist Alisa Schwarzer, is posted on the Change.org platform.
This petition was signed by many German politicians, public and cultural figures. Among them: the former head of the Council of the Evangelical Church of Germany Margot Kessman, actresses Hanna Schigulla, Jutta Speidel, journalist Franz Alt, actor Henri Hübchen, politician Günter Verheugen, conductor Justus Franz, singer Reinhard Mey and others.
At the same time, the official authorities of the country criticized this petition. The deputy head of the Bundestag, Katrin Goering-Eckardt, called this document “not only naive, but also dishonorable.”
