Finland has not yet made a decision on the supply of Leopard tanks to Ukraine

The Finnish authorities have not yet made a decision on the start of deliveries of German Leopard tanks to Ukraine, according to the Yle portal.
As reported, Prime Minister Sanna Marin said that the President of Finland and members of the Cabinet of Ministers have repeatedly discussed the issue related to the supply of tanks, but the decision has not yet been made.
“We can inform the public about this in advance, but if the decision is made, we will tell as much as it costs to tell. Different countries had different lines of communication. We do not take this out into the public space. Finland has delivered a lot of equipment to Ukraine, and we are ready keep doing it,” the prime minister said.
At the same time, the politician stressed that Finland borders on the Russian Federation and “occupies a slightly different position,” which must be taken into account.
