Petersburg introduced fines for smoking in dormitories and communal apartments

Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg on March 22 in the third reading adopted a bill establishing fines for smoking nicotine-containing products in public places in dormitories and communal apartments.
We are talking about smoking all nicotine-containing products, including hookahs and vapes. The fine will range from 500 to 1 thousand rubles, follows from the new version of the law “On Administrative Offenses in St. Petersburg.”
The draft law was developed by United Russia deputies Vsevolod Belikov, Andrei Ryabokon, Anton Solovyov, Konstantin Chebykin, Yuri Gladunov and Alexander Rzhanenkov. Earlier, deputies from Yabloko and United Russia Boris Vishnevsky and Natalya Astakhova criticized the initiative.
