In St. Petersburg, due to the complication of the epidemiological situation, a mask regime is being introduced in social service institutions of all property standards. The corresponding decree was signed by the chief sanitary doctor of the Northern capital Natalia Bashketova, informs Interfax.
The document states that from December 5 to December 11, the incidence of influenza and SARS in the city exceeded the weekly epidemiological threshold by 76.7%. In total, children account for 55% of diseases. There are also more patients requiring hospitalization.
It is noted that masks will also need to be worn in inpatient and outpatient medical organizations.
In addition, among the new epidemiological measures is a ban on planned hospitalization of children, with the exception of those diseases for which a delay is impossible.
