The Kremlin speaker recalled that before Covid, Russians “suffered colds and flu all winter” and will continue to do so. “This is such a season especially for our climate,” he said, noting that we shouldn’t treat it “like unexpected snow in December.”
“We need to take some precautions. We don’t have any indications from specialists regarding the mask regime, so we don’t use it,” Peskov said. At the same time, he stressed that everything necessary is being done to ensure the epidemiological safety of the president.
On the impact of the increase in the incidence of influenza on the elections, according to
Speaker of the Kremlin, there can hardly be any talk. “The elections were held during Covid and nothing happened,” Peskov recalled.
