Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel that as part of the election program, Vladimir Putin will have a “tight” and “intense” work schedule. According to Mr. Peskov, the president’s work will be “more scattered across the country’s geography” and “more intense in communicating with people.”

“We know that this is not the first time he has participated in the presidential race. And each time, Putin still focuses on continuing his usual work schedule. Now we are talking about, as I said above, the most intense work schedule,” said Dmitry Peskov, noting that most of this schedule will be non-public.

On December 7, the Federation Council unanimously appointed the next presidential elections for March 17, 2024. On December 8, after presenting the Golden Star medals to the SVO participants in the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin announced that he would run for president in the 2024 elections. Voting will take place over three days – March 15, 16 and 17. On December 12, the Central Election Commission allowed elections to be held in the territories annexed to the Russian Federation – in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
