Statements by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that Russia wants to start a war in the Middle East have no basis, said Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov explained that the Kremlin reacted negatively to the words of Zelensky, who said that he allegedly has evidence that Russia wants to start a war in the Middle East
“They have absolutely no basis. We see completely different processes. This is an old conflict. I mean the Middle East, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which has many deep contradictions. Many people know the backstory. But it is so deep that not everyone already knows the nuances,” Peskov explained.
