Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the information that Poland has abandoned its claim to the ECHR regarding the Tu-154 crash near Smolensk. He stated that it is necessary to familiarize himself with official information, and also said that Russia has always been against politicization.
The decision of the Polish authorities not to file a claim with the ECHR against Russia in the plane crash case was announced by the head of the country’s Foreign Ministry, Radoslaw Sikorski. He said the trial would bring nothing but unjustified expenses, since Poland does not even have a theoretical chance of success.
