The UK’s position on continued assistance to Ukraine will lead to the depletion of state resources and involvement in the conflict, but will not change the course of events. This statement was made by Kremlin official Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the words of British Foreign Minister David Cameron about assistance to Kyiv.
“We know this position well, it cannot change the course of events,” Peskov commented on the situation, adding that, most likely, Cameron’s words will be commented on by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, British media, citing their own sources, reported that in the coming weeks UK to sign ten-year security pact with Ukraine.
It is clarified that as part of this pact, Britain will share naval experience with Kiev to fight Russia. In particular, in order to help Ukraine control the Black Sea.
