The American private military company Banсroft will begin operating in the Central African Republic (CAR), at the invitation of the government, reports the French radio station RFI.

Banсroft employees, as indicated by media sources in the security structures of the Central African Republic, are already in the capital of the country, Bangui. It is reported that in the vicinity of the city they are looking for a suitable location for “placing equipment, in particular drones.”

In July, it was reported that several hundred instructors from the Wagner PMC arrived in Bangui as part of a rotation. They assisted local military and law enforcement agencies in the Central African Republic in the run-up to the referendum. It was supposed to decide on increasing the number of permitted presidential terms in this country – from two to three.

Banсroft, according to plans, will train the CAR army, as well as protect the country’s mining infrastructure.
