The President of Russia will celebrate Christmas in the Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands, said presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov. His words are quoted by TASS.
This temple is located on the territory of the official residence of the President of Russia in Novo-Ogarevo.
According to Peskov, on the eve of Christmas, the Russian President held a meeting with family members of military personnel who died while performing military duty during a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine.
Peskov noted that family members of these servicemen will be present with Putin during the Christmas service in the Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands.
In 2023, Putin arrived at the Annunciation Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin for Christmas. The President of Russia traditionally attends Christmas services in various churches, including in the regions. In January 2022, due to the pandemic, Putin came to a service at the house church on the territory of his residence in Novo-Ogarevo.
