Peskov: Putin does not plan to meet with Hamas representatives

Russian President Vladimir Putin does not plan to meet with representatives of the Palestinian group Hamas, who are visiting Moscow. This was stated by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov, writes TASS.
According to Peskov, all contacts with the Hamas delegation are planned through the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Earlier on October 26, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova confirmedthat representatives of the Palestinian group Hamas are visiting Moscow. The Foreign Ministry reported that during the visit of Abu Marzouk, a member of the Politburo of the Palestinian group Hamas, the release of foreigners from the group’s captivity and the evacuation of Russians from the Gaza Strip were discussed.
Hamas attacked southern Israel on October 7. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) responded by launching Operation Iron Swords, and the country declared a state of war. According to the latest data, about 8,000 people were killed in the Palestinian-Israeli war, including more than 6,500 Palestinians.
