Peskov: Putin and Kim Jong-un can hold one-on-one negotiations

Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will hold negotiations with the participation of delegations; if necessary, they can also hold a one-on-one meeting. About it reported press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

According to the Dong-a Ilbo newspaper, Kim Jong-un left Pyongyang on the afternoon of September 10 and will cross the border by train on the morning of September 12. The publication does not rule out that Putin and Kim Jong-un may agree on cooperation in the military sphere, including arms supplies, during the Eastern Economic Forum (WEF).

The last time Kim Jong-un came to Russia was in April 2019, when he met with Putin in Vladivostok. It was the first meeting between the leaders of the two countries, as well as the first trip by a North Korean leader to Russia since he came to power in 2011.
