Peskov: measures will be taken to prevent incidents similar to sabotage in Bryansk villages

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that during a meeting with members of the Security Council, Vladimir Putin discussed the protection of strategic facilities and sabotage in the Bryansk region. According to Mr. Peskov, special measures will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future. He did not specify what specific measures are involved.
“There was a discussion, there was also talk about ensuring the security of strategic facilities that are guarded by our special services, of course, the situation related to the terrorist act in Bryansk was mentioned and discussed in detail,” the presidential press secretary said during a press call.
On March 2, the authorities of the Bryansk region reported that a sabotage and reconnaissance group had entered the territory of the region from Ukraine. As a result, two people died in the village of Lubechan. Vladimir Putin named incident of a terrorist attack. Ukrainian authorities deny their involvement in these events.
