Kremlin official Dmitry Peskov explained that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s trip will take place as part of a visit to the country’s regions and is not a “message” to the NATO bloc.
The press secretary also indicated that everything necessary is being done to ensure the safety of the head of state, including during this trip.
Kaliningrad is a Russian city and the capital of the region of the same name. It is located between Poland and Lithuania on the Baltic Sea coast.
