The Kremlin does not know to what extent the video, in which, presumably, the ex-fighter of the Wagner PMC Yevgeny Nuzhin is executed with a sledgehammer, “corresponds to reality.” According to the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, the analysis of the video and the statements of the entrepreneur Yevgeny Prigozhin on this matter is “not our business.”
“We have no comment. We don’t know how true this is. It’s none of our business,” Dmitry Peskov commented during today’s press call.
Last week, anonymous Telegram channels began to circulate a video in which unknown persons beat a man in military uniform on the head with a sledgehammer. The Gray Zone Telegram channel associated with the Wagner PMC wrote that the executed person is an ex-PMC fighter from among the drafted convicts who voluntarily surrendered to the Ukrainian military, for which he “received the traditional Wagner punishment.”
Yesterday, November 13, the creator of PMC Wagner Evgeny Prigozhin, commented video with the phrase “to a dog – dog death”, and called the video itself “an excellent director’s work”.
In September, a video appeared on Telegram channels in which a man who looked like Yevgeny Prigozhin recruits in “PMC Wagner” prisoners of the Russian colony. The man on the video specified that the deserters would be shot.
