The Kremlin commented on the idea of former Russian Prime Minister Sergei Stepashin to recognize the government in Ukraine as a “terrorist regime.”
“I am not aware of any further development of this idea in our parliament – in the lower or upper house. Therefore, at the moment I cannot tell you about any position on this matter, ”said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president.
Peskov also did not give the Kremlin an assessment of this proposal. According to him, such an idea was originally addressed to “our deputies”, but so far it has not been considered. At the same time, the Kremlin representative agreed with the statement that in Russian society the government in Ukraine is considered “terrorist”.
