Peskov commented on Biden’s words about the need to change the world order

Humanity needs a new world order. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov agreed with this thesis of US President Joe Biden. At the same time, the United States is not capable of building such a world order.

“This is a rare case when we absolutely agree with what he said. Indeed, the world needs a new world order, based on completely different principles,” Peskov emphasized.

According to Peskov, the new world order should become free from attempts to concentrate all mechanisms of global governance in the hands of one state trying to impose its will and decisions on other countries. The world order should be based on international law, mutual respect, mutual benefit, as well as non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, he believes.

“But Mr. Biden had another phrase that the United States is capable of building such an order. And here we disagree. This is where we disagree, because the United States, one way or another – no matter what world order they talk about – they mean an American-centric world order, that is, a world that revolves around the United States. It won’t happen like this anymore,” summed up the presidential press secretary.
