Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov called media information about Vladimir Putin’s heart problems “another canard.” According to Mr. Peskov, “everything is fine” with the Russian president. The press secretary also classified reports about Mr. Putin’s doubles as “absurd canards.”
Commenting during a press call on the publication of Sky News Australia and The Mirror about the president’s health problems, Dmitry Peskov said: “Everything is fine with him, this is another duck, absolutely.”
The press secretary responded in a similar way to a question about Vladimir Putin using doubles. “I can say that there are no doubles when it comes to work and so on. This, you know, falls into the category of absurd information “canards” that are discussed with enviable persistence by a number of media outlets. This, of course, brings nothing but a smile,” said Dmitry Peskov.
Materials from Sky News Australia, The Mirror, and a number of other British publications stated that Vladimir Putin suffered a cardiac arrest last weekend. The source of information in the publications is the anonymous Russian-language Telegram channel “General SVR”.
