Peskov appreciated the data on surveillance of Zelensky by the United States

The leak of secret US documents, which include, among other things, possible surveillance of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, is interesting, and the facts set forth in them cannot be ruled out, said Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation.

At a conference call, journalists asked a Kremlin spokesman to comment on CNN’s information about the surveillance of Zelensky.

Peskov also declined to comment on the version that Russia or pro-Russian sources could be behind the leak, calling the readiness to “blame Russia for everything always and everywhere” a “general disease.”

The fact that Zelensky could be monitored by US intelligence agencies, earlier informed CNN, which reviewed more than 50 leaked documents. An interlocutor of the American TV channel, surrounded by Zelensky, called this “not surprising”, noting Kyiv’s “deep disappointment” in connection with the leak.

The documents talk about the schedules for the supply of weapons, the number of troops, the expenditure of ammunition, but specific information about the time and place of the start of the counteroffensive of the armed forces of Ukraine is not given.

Speaking to CNN about the leak, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow had no doubts about the direct or indirect involvement of the United States and NATO in the conflict in Ukraine.
