“It can be stated that there is significant progress on the path to demilitarization,” Peskov said.
On the eve of December 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin during a press conference said that the supply of Soviet equipment to Ukraine had almost come to an end. “The fact is that Ukraine receives weapons from the former Warsaw Pact countries, mostly of Soviet production. On the same day, Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov emphasizedthat the situation on the front line has been stabilized, the length of the contact line is 815 km. He added that at present the main efforts of the Russian troops are focused on the complete liberation of the DPR.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24.
