Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). This was told to journalists by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
According to Peskov, Putin will take part only in the plenary session on June 16 “around two” o’clock.
Earlier, Peskov had already announced the president’s full-time participation in the plenary session of the forum. “There will definitely be a plenary session with the participation of the president. This year SPIEF is being held for the 26th time from 14 to 17 June. According to the Kremlin, high-ranking delegations from more than 15 countries will visit the forum. According to presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, foreign leaders at SPIEF will include President of Algeria Abdelmajid Tebbun, Prime Minister of Cuba Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov, and Presidents of Armenia Vahagn Khachatryan and South Ossetia Alan Gagloev. At the same time, the President of Algeria will also take part in the plenary session.
