Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Vladimir Putin is working in the Kremlin today: in the morning he heard reports on weather disasters that happened in different regions of the Russian Federation.
According to him, the president spoke with the governors and
various services and instructed the government to “carefully consider this situation”: in particular, to take “measures to help the regions.”
Answering the question of how the president himself survived the consequences of the snowfall that hit Moscow at night, the press secretary said that Putin was getting to work in the Kremlin “even before everything completely collapsed.” “It’s not as hard as the rest of the Muscovites who did it in the morning, when everything was covered in snow,” he noted.
At the same time, the president’s schedule, according to Peskov, is not subject to disclosure, so he cannot name the exact time when the head of state arrived in the Kremlin. (Recall that the snowfall in Moscow began at approximately 21.00 and intensified after midnight)
Peskov himself found it difficult to get to work, but nevertheless he was not late.
“We have winter every year and it snows every year, so nothing unusual happened,” he added.
