Peskov: a return to the grain deal is possible after the fulfillment of all the conditions of Russia

The Kremlin confirmed that Moscow is ready to return to the grain deal in the near future if Russian conditions are met. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
Earlier, the US Ambassador to the UN said that the Russian Federation allegedly expressed its readiness to discuss a return to the grain deal.
“We are ready to immediately return to negotiations on the grain deal, but only after certain conditions that are important for Russia are met,” Peskov stressed, in response to a question about a possible return to negotiations on the resumption of this deal.
The Black Sea Initiative, signed on July 22, 2022 by representatives of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN, included a plan to export Ukrainian grain, food and fertilizer through Black Sea ports, including Odessa. This deal is part of a large package of agreements. The second part of this package – a memorandum between Russia and the UN for three years – provides for the unblocking of Russian exports of food and fertilizers, the return of Rosselkhozbank to the SWIFT system, the resumption of supplies of agricultural machinery, spare parts and services, as well as the restoration of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline.
