The “Man Walking” project is designed to motivate middle-aged and older people to increase their daily physical activity.
To participate in competitions, teams of 20-50 people are formed. Participants then download (for free) and register on the Walking Man mobile app. It counts the steps of each participant in real time and generates a team rating.
This year the competition is held in two stages. From September 26 to October 10 there is a preliminary stage – registration, formation of teams, training of participants. The qualifying stage will take place from October 15 to November 15. During the competition, all participants will additionally receive recommendations from experts from the National Health League, aimed at optimizing their motor mode and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
