Russia’s Permanent Representative to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said that the tribunal, which was supported by the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell, would indeed take place, but not over the Russians, but over the political leadership of Ukraine.

“There will be a tribunal for those who are really guilty of everything that happened. But not for the Russian leadership, but for the Kyiv regime,” said he is in the comments of RIA Novosti.

Earlier Borrell on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly declaredwhich supports the idea of ​​creating an independent tribunal, proposed earlier by Kyiv.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the words of Borrell, recommended that he pay attention to the crimes committed by the Ukrainian side since 2014.
