Perm will host the final of the Russian Basketball Championship 3×3

Competitions will be held from June 27 to July 2. Three large-scale events will take place as part of the competition. All of them will take place in the amphitheater on the Kama embankment, where a special basketball court is being built.
“Basketball 3×3 is a traditional street format, and we decided that we would follow the traditions. We have a stunning promenade with a beautiful view of the city, which is 300 years old. It will be a bright and spectacular event in the program of celebrating the anniversary,” said Tatyana Chesnokova, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Perm Territory.
The program of the basketball marathon will be opened by the first figurative basketball match in the history of the Perm Territory. It will be attended by the team of the Olympic Reserve College of the Perm Territory – “Parma-KOR”, which is the winner of the first All-Russian games in fidgital sports in the discipline “basketball”.
This sport is just beginning to develop in the Kama region. It is a symbiosis of eSports and physical activity.
The first phygital match will take place on June 27, starting at 15.00. The next day, June 28, the Russian Basketball Championship 3×3 starts on the embankment. Eight men’s and eight women’s teams from different regions of the country will take part in the main final, which will play according to the “Tokyo” system.
Also, within the framework of the final round, for the first time, the Challenger Cup will be held, in which six men’s teams will take part.
Three teams from Perm will take part in the main tournament. Bionord PRO won a ticket to the main final, and Bionord and the women’s Parma-KOR got the right to play thanks to a wild card. Parma-M will play in the Candidates Cup.
From June 28 to June 30, matches will begin daily at 13.00, and from July 1, the decisive games of the League of Strong People will also be held on the site under the auspices of the inclusive project of the Russian Basketball Federation “Quiet! Basketball”. It is attended by people with lesions of the musculoskeletal system.
The winners and prize-winners of all three tournaments – the final of the Russian Basketball Championship 3×3, the Candidates Cup and the final of the League of Strong People – will be determined on Sunday, July 2.
On all days of the competition, admission for spectators will be free.
