Perm City Hall recycles Apple gadgets – Kommersant
The Perm administration held an auction to select a contractor to destroy Apple equipment. According to the technical specifications, 26 devices are subject to destruction, including one Apple iPad mini4 tablet. The gadgets were purchased in 2000–2016 by the Perm administration to support the activities of municipal employees. The winner of the bidding was Perm LLC IT Max, which volunteered to do the work for 1.28 thousand rubles.
The Perm City Hall explained that the disposal of this equipment is carried out on the basis of an examination. It showed that “the technical equipment is inoperable, repairs are not economically feasible due to the obsolescence of the technical equipment models and the high cost of spare parts.”
