People’s Artist of the Soviet Union Khakim Zaripov, a famous circus rider and animal trainer, died in Tashkent at the age of 99. This was reported by Rosgostsirk on its website on Wednesday.
The staff of the Russian State Circus expressed condolences to the relatives of Zaripov. The report says that “an outstanding artist of the Soviet circus, a horse rider, a horse trainer, has died.”
Khakim Zaripov devoted more than 80 years of his life to circus art, he is from a circus dynasty.

As noted, Zaripov became “an honored follower of his father’s work.” The artist participated in republican and world performances, “raising the flag of Uzbekistan high and glorifying the Uzbek circus to the whole world.”
