Penzanets won five awards in orienteering tournaments

Penza athlete Kirill Ponomarev won five medals in two orienteering competitions.
Two major sports competitions took place in the Leningrad region – “Karelian Isthmus Stones” and “Baltic Games”.
More than a thousand athletes from different regions of Russia took part in these competitions.
From the Penza region, Kirill Ponomarev from secondary school No. 7 of the city of Penza performed with dignity in the competition. He has won 5 awards.
At the “Stones of the Karelian Isthmus” tournament, he took first place in the “Cross-Long – General Start” discipline and third in the “Cross-Long” and “Cross-Sprint” disciplines.
In addition, at the Baltic Games competitions, he twice became the first in the cross-prologue and cross-final disciplines.
