Penza basketball club “Yunost” won a home series of matches

On January 17 and 18, 2024, the Yunost basketball club successfully held matches in its sports arena as part of the Russian Women’s Basketball Championship of the Major League. The Penza team managed to defeat the TsOP-Spartak team from St. Petersburg twice.
In the first match, which took place on January 17, Yunost won with a score of 83:48. The best players in the Penza team were Anastasia Bykova, who scored 14 points, as well as Yulia Stefanovskaya and Ksenia Vasilyeva, who earned 12 points each.
In the second match, which took place on January 18, Yunost also won with a score of 84:64. Anastasia Bykova and Olesya Mezhova became the top scorers of this match, scoring 25 and 15 points respectively.
Yunost will play its next matches away from home on January 26 and 27, where the Penza team will meet with the Nadezhda-2 team from Orenburg.
