Penza athletes became winners of the Volga Federal District arm wrestling competition

The championship and championship of the Volga Federal District in arm wrestling took place from January 10 to 14, 2024 in the city of Nizhnekamsk, located in the Republic of Tatarstan. At these competitions, the Penza region team was represented by 8 athletes. In total, about 440 athletes from 12 different regions of Russia took part in the competition.
According to the press service of the Penza Ministry of Sports, according to the results of the competition, Penza residents won 3 medals. In the championship among juniors aged 18 to 21 years in the weight category up to 60 kg, Daniil Krivtsov from the Nizhnelomovsky district received a silver medal.
And among athletes aged 14-15 years in the weight category up to 70 kg, Vladislav Ermolaev from Nikolsky district took third place. In the weight category up to 60 kg, Vladimir Puchkov, originally from Nizhny Lomov, took second place.
